The companies that rank highest are usually the ones spending the most on ads, and the big national review sites bury local specialists under sponsored results. A homeowner about to spend $60,000 deserves a better starting point than that.
Every listing here is compiled from public sources and checked against the builder's own website. Listing is free and always will be. I don't take payment to add a company, remove a company, or move one up the page.
What you won't find: invented review scores, fake urgency, or rankings quietly sold to the highest bidder. Where a builder has paid for a sponsored placement, it sits in a separate labeled box and the listings below it stay in exactly the order they'd be in otherwise.
